Do you know where your digitals are?

^^^ This is the mock up. I took a photo of the space (their photo railings were already installed) and brought the photo into my super magical program). Below is a photo of the actual installation! Pretty spot on, eh?

When I do my pre-session consults, a lot of the time people will say “I just want the digitals”… and so I have to ask them why. Most of the time it’s because it’s all they know how to ask for. Gah! There’s a better way.

What did you do with your digitals from your last professional photo session? Do you know where they are? Are they gasping for air, dying a slow death on a thumb drive in your desk next to three dried up pens? Are they on a phone that is now in a landfill? Do they still bring you joy?

Well I hope they still bring you joy, but chances are very good you got your digitals you looked at them and you loved them and you meant to print them, but never got around to it. That’s not judgement in any way… I did the same thing years ago when I had professional photos done … I just got overwhelmed.

This is why I’m a print-based photographer. I love FULLY serving my clients all the way through choosing what to do with their photos. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to bring more JOY into their homes.

I now realize I just went ahead and wasted my investment of time and money for my professional photo session years ago. I only got digitals and now I have nothing to show for it—I have NO idea where those photos are today. I didn’t get to enjoy them beyond the first “wow”... because iiiiiii never did anything with them.

Sooooo…..When I became a photographer myself, I did a lot of research and decided to do things differently. I could truly be of service to my clients beyond the session. One thing I really found to help my clients is a magical little program that shows them exactly what photos will look like on their own walls. Another thing I do is show them samples of different kinds of artwork products they might not know about at our Gallery Reveal Art Party after the session. Many people are horrible visualizers, (I’m looking in the mirror pointing at me) ... these mock ups really show what sizes are appropriate for the space, and seeing and touching the products help them figure out what works for them.

Check out the mock up I did for the Gainer family. They had these beautiful empty railings just begging for artwork (for ahem...a long time, from what I understand). I took a photo of the space and showed Elizabeth a couple different layout options. She chose her favorite layout and swapped out for her favorite photos …. whallaaaa! Her finished artwork was delivered last week and looks pretty spot on to the mock up, don’t you think? I’m so very happy that she is thrilled.

Can you tell which is the mock up and which is the actual installation below?

Answer: Left is the mock up, right is the artwork installed! Mock up was pretty spot on, eh?

Will you pay more for this service I provide? Initially, yes you will, but you deserve my time. In the long run, though, YOU will actually save time and money by having me get it done and—get it right with high-quality prints and products. You will be ecstatic with the results and you’ll give yourself a little pat pat pat on the back.

I can help you bring more love and cozy into your home, all YOU have to do is ask (I don't know your phone number). Reach out today for availability, friend. :)
