I totally get it… believe me! I do. We all have insecurities. But your kids think you’re the most beautiful person in the world. And this time in their lives is so so short. There is nothing more important than today. You may think you need to wait until you lose just five more pounds, or wait for this or that… but as the mom of an 18-year-old who truly doesn’t know where the time went and didn’t take enough photos with her… I’m telling you, don’t wait for anything. Portrait Play Date Details
This is a limited edition group session for moms + kids of a similar age. Only 4 moms + their kid(s) are invited per session. These moms may know each other, or they may not! It’s a great opportunity to make new local friends that have kids. Even though this is a group session, I focus on making photographs of each mom with her child vs. the group.

Why photograph in a group?
It’s a fun way to split the cost of a full session retainer. I don’t love the rush and stress of a short time slot of mini sessions, so this is my answer! With the Portrait Playdate, you get a nice chunk of time to just focus on playing with the person you love most, while making new friends!
Can I do a portrait session just me and my kiddo?
Absolutely! You would simply book a story session.
When are they?
I try to do them once a month. This is still a new type of session for me, so stay close, stay tuned for when they’re announced! (That means join my email list , or fill out my Portrait Playdate form. Another option is to host a Portrait Playdate! Hosting simply means gathering 2 of your friends with their kids and letting me know you’d like to schedule a Playdate. We’ll find a date and do it!
Are the Portrait Playdates always at the beach?
So far they have been, but I have some other ideas if the beach is not your jam, and I’m open to discussing an idea you may have!

The session retainer for one child is $595 and includes one 16x20 fine art matted print and 5 digital images. Optional upgrades available. You save $600 off a normal session with this artwork included!
