Good morning Atlantic Beach.
Where I live, everyone likes to make the same type of morning photo. We happen to be very lucky—stunningly gorgeous sunrises over the ocean greet us if we’re unlazy enough to bring our feet a couple blocks. But I woke up today thinking …. certainly there’s more to an Atlantic Beach morning than a beautiful sunrise? Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe everything to the west of the dunes is dreary and non-photo-worthy till noonish? I guess there is no way to know for sure unless I go out and try to see things other than a beautiful sunrise. So I did.
Turns out there’s a ton of cool stuff happening! Dogs whizzing on posts and curbs, lots of people out moving their muscles, plenty of bikes possibly left from the night before (I’m assuming they’re all from hook ups ;), bar and restaurant prep, traffic light maintenance, waste management, birds waiting to get into restaurants… really too much to list you’ll just have to click to enjoy the morning with me (I suggest watching as large as you can to gather in all the great details), or scroll through the gallery below.
